Privacy Policy – LicitaNow
1. Introduction
LicitaNow respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting all personal data processed through the platform, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable law.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect the following data:
- Name
- Phone (when provided)
- Company details
- Profile information
- Content posted to the feed
- Data related to published tenders
- Technical access and security information
- Account access records (logins)
Whenever someone attempts to sign in (log in) to the platform, successfully or not, the following is recorded: the email entered, the date and time, whether the attempt succeeded, the IP address and the browser and device used. The email and the IP address are stored in encrypted form.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data is used for:
- Creating and managing accounts
- Operating the platform
- Security and fraud prevention
- Managing tenders and company profiles
- User support
- Meeting legal obligations
Access records are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of LicitaNow and its users in keeping accounts secure, in particular to detect unauthorized access, repeated sign-in attempts and other abusive or fraudulent use.
LicitaNow administrators have access to account data (name, email and account type) and to access records, solely for platform management, support and security purposes. They may correct an account's details and delete accounts in the cases set out in the Terms and Conditions.
4. Data Security
LicitaNow implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.
The measures applied include:
- Encryption of sensitive data
- Secure connections through SSL/TLS certificates
- Protected servers
- Internal access control
- Security monitoring
- Regular system updates
- Data protection best practices
Although we apply high security standards, no online system can guarantee absolute zero risk.
5. Data Sharing
LicitaNow does not sell personal data to third parties.
Data may only be shared when necessary for:
- Meeting legal obligations
- Technology providers essential to the operation of the platform
- Protecting the company's legal rights
6. Data Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or while an account remains active, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Access records (logins) are kept for as long as necessary for security and fraud-prevention purposes and may be kept after an account is deleted, so that unauthorized access or abuse that occurred while the account was active can still be investigated.
7. User Rights
Under the GDPR, users may request:
- Access to their data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure of data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Objection to processing where applicable
